 Gangaswarup Hasumati Bhanuprasad Pandya was born on November 20, 1926, in Devgadh Baria, India. She was the daughter of Chimanlal and Radhaben Purani and the sister of 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She was married to the Late Bhanuprasad Someshwar Pandya for 71 years.

Being the matriarch of the family she came to America in 1979 to instill culture and religious values to future generations. Spirituality and religion were the pillars that served the foundation which she imparted to those she influenced. She was full of joy and strove to bring happiness to everyone. She always remained progressive minded and supported her family.  She was an exceptional daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and a wonderful grandmother.Late Hasumati Bhanuprasad Pandya is survived by her five sons and daughter-in-laws Prakash & Kalpana, Ashok & Aruna, Upendra & Uma, Dilip & Rekha, and Hemant & Jagruti Pandya, ten grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She has lived a full life, filling our hearts with love, and teaching us many values and lessons of life. She will be remembered and cherished forever.

Services will be on Tuesday September 27, 2016  from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel.
